In this presentation author illustrator Carey Sookocheff will share what it is like to be a picture book illustrator through her earliest drawings to her current work. Afterwards learn how to draw faces! Not just happy ones, but sad, worried, scared and angry faces! Using simple lines and shapes we will explore how we can convey emotions in our drawings of people.
She will also read her recent picture book A PERSON CAN BE which explores how people can experience different emotions at the same time.
